Dominion of Canada, Foreign Export Stamp, 12.7cm x 8.8cm, Revenue Stamp? on Bacon
Note:  Interesting stamp!  There must have been a fee paid to receive this stamp from the Dominion of Canada, which would make it a revenue stamp.  It states that "the article in question has been inspected and marked according to the Meat and Canned Foods Act and the Regulations thereunder" However, what was the fee paid?  There cannot be many survivors of this stamp as it clearly states on the stamp: ".... the stamp is to be forthwith destroyed".  An interesting addition to any collection.  I have seen only one other which was not attached to any product.  It's fitting that this one is for Canadian Bacon!
