BCL23, 25c, 5th Series, "THE MISSING LINK" punch cancel with handstamp.  As far as Ed Zaluski's "CARIS" - CAnadian Revenue Identification System, the BC Law Stamp Punch Cancellations on this stamp were unknown.  Some copies of the punch alone could be found, however; without an accompanying office handstamp, the origin of the punch was unknown.  Here, we have the "link", between the two with a very clear handstamp from "West Kootenay" which is part of Nelson, BC.  A mystery solved!
