If you are new to Revenue Stamps and visited this site to get an idea on what you have, that is a great start! Even if you are not sure of what you have, I would like to take a look. Revenue stamps are basically a "receipt" showing that you have paid a fee for goods or services. That is a very broad definition and there are so many forms that Revenue stamps can take.

Postage stamps are very different. You buy these to mail a letter, that's it!
Revenue stamps can be found on documents such as court, law, cheques, inspection certificates such as gas and electricity and many other documents. Stamps on hunting licences are also revenue Stamps.

Initial Review

A good start is to scan your stamps on both sides Generally, 400 dpi works just fine and keeps the size of the e-mail down. If you don't have a scanner, usually a good quality close-up photo is fine. Provide any information that may not be visible in the image such as any rips, folds, creases, etc. Then e-mail the file to me. Use the e-mail link provided because it will flag your e-mail to me as someone who is interested in selling.

Upon review, I will advise if interested or not. If I am interested, I will give you a quote. Be aware that many pricing guides are extremely optimistic and in fact, stamps will sell at only a fraction (anywhere from approximately 10%-40% and in some rare cases, a little higher). You should receive offers from several dealers before committing. Also, you may be interested in having a dealer sell your collection on commission. Either way, I am interested in seeing what you have and giving you a fair quote or idea of what you have.

If you are happy with the quote, I will make an electronic payment using PayPal, in any currency. Then you mail the item(s) to me and the transaction is over, quick and easy.
